Back to Life, Back to Reality
Coming back from holiday is always something of a jarring experience, and even when you've only been in Dorset with your family for five days it takes a bit of time to catch up on everything you've missed. I think I'm mostly caught up now, except for the nine or so new podcasts sitting in my iPod which I'm saving for when I have a particularly large load of ironing to do.
An interesting gaming event which occurred last week was my brother Andrew and I finishing Streets of Rage 2 on co-op mode. The game gets pretty hard towards the end but we managed to fight our way to the top of the skyscraper and defeat the very-80s villain at the top. We also got in some time playing Super Smash Bros Brawl, which I've imported from America. I'll probably write a post with my impressions on it soon, but I will say that I was very glad that my brothers enjoyed it more than a group of my friends enjoyed Melee a couple of weeks ago.
